Founded in 1994, CareerNET is a privately held limited liability company, with sales and operations throughout the U.S. CareerNET was an early pioneer in Talent Management solutions when it launched CareerNET.com, one of the Internet’s first successful public career boards.

Based on the success of the career board, the founders of CareerNET LLC had the foresight to see the growing corporate demand for privately hosted, web-based Talent Management solutions. In response, HRsmart Inc. was soon formed and quickly grew into one of the web’s premier providers of Talent Management solutions. In March of 2015, HRsmart was acquired by Deltek. As a result, Deltek's award-winning enterprise-level solutions are used today by over 6 million users.

Under a unique agreement with Deltek, CareerNET leverages the technology and expertise of Deltek to deliver Talent Management solutions that are affordable, easy to use and that instantly provide a valuable return on investment.
